Progress of the Lasagna Garden!

Here it is as of June 1st!

Notice the Zucchini in the Tomato Cages (picture 3)...and I built trellis's for the Cucumbers with Paint Stirring Sticks! This way, if they grow taller than the trellis, I can always add more height. :) I know, I'm so smart!

And the beans are growing both in the tire (bush beans) and along the trellis/vines (aka, my roommates extra decorative sticks she uses in a vase sitting in our front room:) picture 5

I'll bet your garden doesn't smell as good as ours. :)
thanks for coming up and building our garden. That was a fun project and I'm still impressed that you got it done in a day.

We now have 2 yards of compost sitting in our driveway. I think I'll build another box and see if I can recreate your lasagna.

That is truly amazing!! It so functional, organized, and flourishing! And, it also has beautiful California flowers to add a touch of class!! It must have taken lots of watering and loving to get them to thrive like that! Great job!! Can't wait to see the produce!!
Love,
Mom
